Dead Sea Works – Sodom (Israel)
Project for the design of the control application for the combined cycle and cogeneration of Dead Sea Works in Sodom (Israel). Performing the FAT and SAT tests and running the commissioning, including fine tuning. Training of local engineering and operation personnel.

The Dead Sea Works is the fourth world’s largest producers and suppliers of potash products, including potassium chloride. Due to the location of the plant, it operates at one of the lowest points in the world. The company also produces magnesium chloride, industrial salts, de-icers, bath salts, table salt, and raw materials for the cosmetic industry. It has customers in over 60 countries. Originally established in 1929, the company has undergone many changes, including a name change. Rather than extracting potash and other minerals from the Dead Sea by mining them directly, the company makes use of solar evaporation with 2-meter deep evaporation ponds.
